artist at work     The artist was born on June 10, 1949, and grew up in Aarberg. He took up drawing while mastering the job of laboratory assistant in Basel.  He graduated from the evening courses at Decorative Art School in Basel. Having worked for several years as a department chief  (Educational department) at the Chandos AG company, Basel, he perfpormed his first voyage through different countries of the world.  Upon his return back to his motherland he makes his first steps towards the profession  of free-lance artist.
    Pfister develops his themes using technique of pencil drawing, then he cuts his motives from black paper and thus produces unique works of art, which are full of certain mad erotic charm.
    The artist finds inspiration for his original works from his numerous journeys.
    Since 1991 he exhibits his works in galleries and public places.
    In 2003 Berlepsch company (Basel)issued an art book of his works. Pfister has created numerous works ordered by famous companies, among which are:
