Heike Kulski

She was born in Neiruppin and finished school there. In speciality Heike is mechanic in maintenance and she received a school-leaving certificate; Later she was awarded with a speciality of engineer in foundry. Since 1989 she has been living in Ludvigsfeld (south of Berlin).

Since when a child she was fond of painting and drawing. Since 1987 she started to try herself in the Scherenschnitte art (Papercutting). For these years Heike has been improving her skills in silhouette cutting technique (with scissors). Heike is an active member of the local Union of Artists, and also a member of specific German Union of Papercutters. She has been teaching in a small training course of papercutting in schools of Ludvigsfeld.

At present Heike is working on creating a shadow theater for children in Ludvigsfeld. Now she is making illustration for a small book of fair tales that will be published in the early December 2002. As early as in this year (2002) she has been making decoration for a Culture Club in Ludvigsfeld. In 2001 presented for the first time "cuttings" for decorating eggs in the museum of European Art. This work was also shown in German TV. Cuttings of Heike were demonstrated many times beginning from 1996 at numerous exhibitions in various towns of Germany (Teltov, Ludvigsfeld, Neiruppin, Khristianendorf, Berlin anf others) In 2001 Ludvigsfeld.
